Description
Tahoe 671 is a 2-wire G.shdsl+ modem with a G.703 interface. It transmits an E1 stream at a rate from 128 to 2048 kbps over a single copper pair.
It supports TCPAM-32 modulation, more efficient than the TCPAM-16 of the G.shdsl standard, as well as the lower-order modulations, so it interoperates with equipment from other manufacturers.

Features
The G.703 interface works in unframed or framed (G.704) mode. In framed mode the modem can transmit only selected timeslots when a long line does not allow the full 2048 kbps.
The software allows you to set the data rate in 64 kbps steps, the modulation type and the message language, and to measure line attenuation and signal-to-noise ratio. The remote modem can be managed over the leased line itself, in an auxiliary channel, without interrupting transmission. The full list of features is in the Technical data tab.
Configuration is done from the built-in LCD display and keypad or via the serial console.
Several hardware and software watchdogs monitor the device, from basic processor functions to network communication. The metal enclosure is designed for years of continuous operation.
