Description
Tahoe 1811 is a router with a V.35 port and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port. It supports Frame Relay, synchronous PPP and HDLC links.
Configuration
In a typical case, a single command is enough to bring up a Frame Relay link. Configuration is done from the built-in LCD display and keypad, via the serial console or via telnet.

Firewall, DHCP/BOOTP server, VLAN support, bridge mode over Frame Relay or HDLC. The full list of features is in the Technical data tab.
Several hardware and software watchdogs monitor the device, from basic processor functions to network communication. The metal enclosure is designed for years of continuous operation.
